Where the Air Folds, Gouache and oil on cotton paper, 56 x 76cm, 2025
Fisher’s Ghost Art Award 2025 Finalist
Where the Air Folds belongs to a new series of works on paper I’ve been developing this year. These works explore the tension and harmony between the natural world and human structures. Inspired by traditional Chinese ink and water painting yet employing contemporary techniques and materials, this series invites reflection on how nature’s fluidity meets humanity’s impulse to define, measure, and contain space.
