Dapeng Liu has been announced as finalist for the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award 2025

“Where the Air Folds belongs to a new series of works on paper I’ve been developing this year. These works explore the tension and harmony between the natural world and human structures. Inspired by traditional Chinese ink and water painting yet employing contemporary techniques and materials, this series invites reflection on how nature’s fluidity meets humanity’s impulse to define, measure, and contain space.” - Dapeng Liu

The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award is an annual art award and exhibition inviting artists to submit works in a variety of artistic categories and mediums. Now in its 63rd year, there is over $60,000 in prize money to be won across the categories.
